I really liked this movie. Because of the some of the intense scenes,I do not recommend it for small children. It should be okay for older teens and can be a great teaching tool about how life can be on the streets. The acting is very good in this movie and I would highly recommend it.

I purchased this movie after reading the positive reviews on this site. I was not disappointed. My family really enjoyed it; we are a family of predominantly males and most movies are geared to the female audience! It is difficult to find good value entertainment and I don't always buy a movie in hopes of a Gospel message when I am looking for entertainment. However, I found this movie to have good message and was quite appropriate for our movie night. As to be expected, there was gang-related violence and blood, but all subjects dealt with were done in a very subtle manner and there were no inappropriate scenes of any nature. for which I was thankful.
